    APPLICATION FIELDS

    For general repair and restoration work on structural concrete. Repairs honeycombs, cracks and fissures.Patching and protective covering of superficial reinforcing rods affected by corrosion.To repair lintels, rain caps, water tanks and to restore architectural concrete permanently exposed to climatic conditions.Sealing of construction joints prior to waterproofing works in tanks, swimming pools, basements, etc.For the restoration of lines and shapes of damaged prefabricated concrete elements.

    Preparation: Preparing the surface before applying this structural repair mortar is essential. You need to clean the surface and make sure it’s free of grease, dirt, loose particles, etc. Similarly, remove all the damaged concrete parts of the surface as well.

    Mixing: You need to mix a 25kg bag of MAXREST with clean water. You can take up to 3.5 to 4 litres of water to do so. It takes approximately 15-20 minutes for this mixture to set.

    Application: Before you apply the mortar, prepare, and apply a slurry of the MAXREST on the surface that needs repair. And then, while the slurry is still fresh, place the MAXREST structural repair mortar.

    You have to apply the mortar in successive layers. However, make sure to wait at least 10-15 minutes between each layer’s application.

    Are There Any Conditions To Look For?

    Yes, you must consider a few conditions while applying this structural repair mortar at your preferred site.

    • Only apply it above 5ºC; otherwise, do not use this mortar. Avoid this procedure on frosted surfaces.
    • Make sure to cure the surface with a wet cloth to protect the repair from high temperature.
    • Similarly, clean all the tools used immediately once you have finished this procedure!
